Such a role might involve advising on football operations, supporting programme development, mentoring staff, or helping preserve the traditions that have made the Badgers a recognisable name in college football. These are possibilities rather than confirmed responsibilities.

Head coach Luke Fickell continues to lead the programme, and any potential arrangement involving Alvarez would need to be clarified through an official announcement.
